Breakfast Hike

Overview

Join Pack 44 for The Fall Outpost, October 12th to the 13th at J. Edward Mack Scout Reservation. The event is designed for Cub Scouts and their parents. Troops and Crews will be helping to run the stations for the Cub Scouts. 

The main purpose of the Fall Outpost is to expose young scouts to activities in which they will participate throughout their years in scouting. Cub Scouts will participate in stations revolving around the theme of Forging Forward. This is also an opportunity for Cub Scouts to meet some of their outdoor requirements while having fun. This is also an opportunity for the Cubs to engage with the older Scouts and for the older Scouts to practice leadership.

Pack 44 Scouts and Leaders should wear their green Pack 44 T-shirts during the day on Saturday, and bring their Uniforms for the camp-fire on Saturday night.  An event patch, all activities (for the youth), and a meal are included in the cost. The trading post may be open during the event.

Packs will be checking in Saturday morning and Pack 44 will plan to camp Saturday night (if anyone needs to borrow gear, just let Pack Leadership know).  Also, this is a Family event so siblings are welcome to attend and participate as well - just make sure to include them in your registration.  

Cost is $23 per person

($18 for the event and 5 for Dinner and Breakfast)

Parents and siblings are encouraged to attend and join in on the fun!

8:15 am Meet in the Upper Parking Lot at Camp Mack 

8:45 am Flag Ceremony at Dining Hall 

9:00 am Stations (follow assigned rotation and switch on the half-hour mark) 

12:00 pm Lunch at Pavilion 

1:00 pm        Camp Site Set Up

5:00 pm Supper at Pack 44 Campsite 

7:00 pm Camp-wide Campfire Program 

10:00 pm Quiet Time / Lights Out 

Sunday 

7:00 am Breakfast provided by Pack 44

All units should be out of camp by 10:30 AM.
