The annual Pack 44 Fishing Derby will be held Saturday, May 11th from 9:00 am to about 12:00 pm - Guests and non-Scouts are welcome ... come and see how much fun Cub Scouting can be!! Current Pack 44 scouts are welcome to campout by the lake Friday, May 10th!

Please sign-up below by this Friday, May 3rd!

Have a friend interested in scouts? Help us spread the word about Cub Scouts and invite them join to your family for some fishing fun!

Boys should bring their own fishing poles and tackle.  We have a few extra poles for any boys that do not have them.  Families may wish to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.  There is limited seating at the lake. Parents can assist their scout without a fishing license, but may not hook a fish themselves without a license.

Scouts should wear Activity Uniform (aka "Class B") for this event.

Current Cub Scouts and their families will be able to Camp out by the Camp Mack Lake on Friday May 10th and then wake up and fish Saturday morning!

If you are camping, arrival is Friday, May 10th at 6:00 pm.  We will be doing a Pack camp-fire at 7:00 pm - all are welcome (even those not spending the night).  Breakfast will be served in morning before the 9:00 am Fishing Derby Kick-off.

Due to the excellent rate that we're getting for the site rental scouts and families can join the campout at *no cost*.

Families wishing to camp but requiring a tent or other gear should let Pack Leadership know and gear can be loaned for the event.

NOTE:  The Fishing Derby event on Saturday, May 11th (9:00 am to 12:00 pm) will be open to friends interested in seeing how much fun we have in Cub Scouts and Pack 44! The Friday night campout and Saturday morning breakfast will be for current Pack 44 members only.
