Spring Product Sale with Porch & Pantry!

The PA Dutch Council is sponsoring a Spring Product Sale in partnership with Porch & Pantry in Mt. Gretna, PA. 

Small batch hot sauces, seasoning, & granolas will be for sale from January 22, 2024 until February 23, 2024. Some of the flavors, Monkey Business Granola & Scout's Honor Hot Sauce, were inspired by our very own scouts with a "Great Your Own Flavor" contest that took place in October of 2023.

While participation in the Spring Product Sale is optional, it is a great way to boost scout accounts to raise funds towards summer camp programs, other scouting programs/events throughout the year, and dues. 

Spring Product Sale & Pack 44:

• 25% of each product sold goes directly into Scouting. 

• Risk Free: Scouts take orders, collect payment, and submit one check to their unit

• Products competitevly priced at $10-$13 each (2 hot sauces, 2 granolas, & 1 seasoning mix)

• Items will make great additions to Mother's Day, Father's Day, housewarming, 4th of July, and client gift baskets!

Sales Details: 

• Timeline for selling is from January 22, 2024 through February 23, 2024

• Order Form & Check (one per scout) due by February 27, 2024

• Pick up/distribution TBD - Expected around the third week in April.

Safety Tips and Courtesy Points:

• Remember to always follow BSA safety guidelines

• These items make great gifts!

• Always wear your Scout uniform… properly

• Always sell with a family member or designated guardian

• Never enter anyone’s home

• Don’t carry large amounts of cash on you

• Always walk on the sidewalk and driveway

• Always smile and introduce yourself, no last name

• Always tell your customers why you are selling!

• Raising funds for Scout Camp and other Scouting Adventures

• Always say… THANK YOU!!

• Count change in front of the customer or confirm total on check

• Collect money at time of order and once done taking orders, write one check payable to Pack 44
