Lion Program

Pack 44 has been chosen as a Warwick pilot site for the new Lion Program for Kindergartners!  The Lion program weaves traditional Scouting concepts of character development, leadership skills, personal fitness and citizenship into activities that are age-appropriate and fun for the boys and their parents. At the end of the Lion year, they “graduate” to Tiger and advance through Cub Scouting.

Our Lion Cub program has exciting indoor and outdoor activities specifically designed for kindergarten boys and their adult partner. Lions will experience a "reduced" scout meeting schedule only meeting twice a month - one normal "den" meeting and one "adventure" meeting.

Families can sign up starting in August and participate in Pack activities right away.  Official Lion meetings will start September 6, 2016.

- The Lions will meet twice per month: on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday (unless an outing is planned which would cancel the 3rd Tuesday meeting). As part of our first adventure, The Lions Honor, we will join the Pack at the September Pack meeting on the 4th Tuesday.
