Family Hiking Miles

A big part of scouting is growing an appreciation for God's great outdoors!  Pack 44 is invested in helping scouts and their families create great outdoor memories, and a big part of that is our Pack 44 Hiking Staff program.  This program recognizes the miles hiked by boys while they are Cub Scouts (and Leaders can participate too!)  The great part about the program is that scouts are recognized for the miles they hike apart from Cub Scout activities.  Families who log their miles while on family hikes can use the "Report Family Hiking Miles" button on the Hiking page in order for their sons to get credit and recognition in the form of extra hiking beads for their Pack 44 Hiking Staff.  Make sure to plan some hikes as a family and report the miles once the hikes are complete!
