Scout Sunday is a day set aside for
churches to honor scouts and for scouts to fulfill their duty to God. ![]() St.
Paul Lutheran Church is our charter organization, which means that they sponsor
us. St. Paul's has been very good to our pack as they allow us to use
their facility for most activities at no charge. Scout Sunday is our
opportunity to show St. Paul's that they are supporting a worthy group, and we
appreciate it. In an effort to show our support, we will be the coffee
host for the morning. We will be staffing a snack table and greeting
church attendees as they come in (8:45 am - 10:45 am). The Boy Scouts
generally take over as coffee hosts at 10:45 am. Mr. and Mrs. Reichard
(Adam and Luke's parents) have agreed to be the coordinators of this activity
for our pack. THANK YOU!
For this day, we are asking for a few scouts to be present at the church, greet attendees, and serve snacks. Scouts are asked to wear Class A uniforms. You and your family are welcome to stay for the service as well. ONLY SCOUTS WHO PARTICIPATE WILL BE AWARDED THE SCOUT SUNDAY PATCH. We are asked to be prepared for 100 people.
