Fishing Derby

This page contains information about the event for Last Year but has been left here so you can see what the event was like.  Once information is available for this year’s event we’ll update this page with the appropriate details, add a sign-up form and send out the link to the Pack.  Stay tuned for more details!

The Pack 44 annual Fishing Derby will be Saturday April 22nd, 8 a.m. until noon!! We will be fishing Lititz Run along 772 in the Riparian Park near the LEFC church.

Lititz Sportsmen will be stocking the stream with trout starting promptly at 8:00am.  Boys who arrive early may have a chance to help with the stocking.

Boys should bring their own fishing poles and tackle.  We have a few extra poles for any boys that do not have them.  Families may wish to bring lawn chairs or blankets on which to sit.  Parents can assist their scout without a fishing license, but may not hooks a fish themselves.
There will be ribbons for First Fish, Biggest Fish, Most Persistent Fisherman and more.
Each family is asked to bring either a baked good or a breakfast item to share.

Scouts should wear Activity Uniform (aka "Class B") for this event.

Please let us know below if you intend to come to the event:
